The after shot

Really not very different. Still poofy. The woman who cut her hair asked if we layered it last time. Seeing as how I am the one who cut it last time and I don't know what it means to "layer it" the answer was no.

On the move

Watch out world, here she comes. Sophie can crawl! (It's more of a breakdance worm than a crawl, but she's getting around.)

It's very hard work.

Speaking of chocolate chips...

Three of our kids have one on the bottom of their feet.

Golf camp

The boys had golf camp this week. I forgot my camera, so I am posting a cell phone photo instead. I loved that the driving range was carved out of the cornfields, almost like Field of Dreams. Very Indiana.

The boys did a great job and had a lot of fun. Only a few more weeks until school starts again!

Chocolate chips

According to this article, the P* family chocolate chip gene may be associate with a long life span (and long telomeres). Long telomered people of the world, unite.

A mystery

There used to be a very large house down the street from us. VERY large, like 20,000 square feet or more. A regular mansion. Not quite as big as this, but not too far off, either.

It was so big that when people drove by and saw it for the first time, they would invariably remark, "Whoa. That's a big house."

One day, maybe 2 months ago, we went outside and the house was gone. GONE. There was a big pile of rubble, and three very large chimneys. So we took a photo with the cell phone while we were driving by:

Now the chimneys are gone, and you can't even tell that an enormous house was ever there. Weird.

Fun with the R* cousins

Our trip

We were gone for a long time! Here's the first installment of photos from our trip. These are from the day we spent at Disneyland with Grandma, Grandpa and the R* cousins.
