I had classmates in business school who couldn't believe that I would irresponsibly bring children into the world, what with the lack of resources to go around (food, land), and all the strife. Silly me.
sweet thanks. it's an old german song that they sing in the french movie "joyeux noel," which i saw over in paris and LOVED. our whole group plus professor went to see it, it's an amazing movie. but i always wondered what it meant. merci!

what does "bist du bei mir" mean in german?
"be with me" or "you are with me"
bist = are
du = you
