You take much better pictures than I do. I wish, looking back, that I had exercised a tiny bit of wisdom when taking photos of places I will probably never visit again. You and I must have stood in almost the exact same spot, just a few years apart.

that's awesome elliott - how funny, we really did stand in the same exact spot. i bet we could compare similar pics from petra as well. that's hilarious. but hey - it is good to have yourself in pictures once in awhile - unfortunately i only have about 5 pics of me in the middle east - mainly because people don't know how to take pictures with an old-fashioned camera anymore, so it was hard to rely on people to take them of me. so pants aside, it's sweet to see yourself with the stuff rather than just the stuff every now and then!
i agree, it's always fun to have pictures with people in them. i do like jooj's pictures, of course, but for decorative purposes. the memories are much more vivid when you can see the people who were there with you, you know? they just bring a smile to your face, especially when they involve pants like that. :)
