It got so cold here last night that the fog stuck to the trees and froze. Everything was covered in fuzz when we woke up this morning. School was delayed two hours so the kiddos wouldn't die while waiting for their buses.
we were under a freezing fog advisory the other day. i guess that's what it means. it didn't materialize here. i was wondering what it took for a 'snow day' to happen in indiana. have you had one since you've lived there? or just delayed starts?
I'm not sure we'll ever get used to it. It's just not as surprising anymore. We had one snow day and two two-hour delays last week. We usually have 1-3 snow days a year. It takes about 5-6 inches to call the whole day off.
