Photos from North Korea

Neatorama linked to these unauthorized photos from North Korea, taken by a Russian web developer on a recent trip. Why he went on a trip to DPRK, I don't know... but the pictures are amazing. There are several pages, which you will miss if you're not careful. Check 'em out.

We are very lucky to live in the United States. Hopefully the people in North Korea will be free one day too.

that is insane. . .this year at sundance film fest there was a documentary called "dear pyongyang," and filmed in north korea. i really wanted to see it, but couldn't get tickets. it's tragic - you can just see the hopelessness. especially when contrasting that to south korea! dude. the difference between the two show that it really is bad/good governance that makes/breaks a country. the people are the same, the history the same- one just happened to be given to the US and the other to the USSR.
