Andrew's spelling list this week

Is it just me, or do these words seem kinda hard? Ginger and I had to look at least one of them up to make sure the list had them all spelled correctly. Andrew, of course, knows them all. Isosceles?!?

He is one briliant boy. Not sure I could have spelled isosceles.

Yes, these words seem advanced for his age. Is Andrew reading books that have these words? Are they studying geometry? And I suppose for homework he has to write each one several times, right?
Blech! burn-out coming up!

Mom- he only has homework for his spelling words over the weekend, and nothing too tiring... But I do quiz him every day, and if he gets any wrong, he has to write it out 3 times.

He is studying geometry right now (at least shapes). Our schools here are very advanced, plus he is in the gifted program.

Believe me, he loves these words! He tells us they are easy!
