In this case, it's the parents' fault. Bad genes.
But his new glasses do make him look very smart, both in the American and British senses of the word.

He put them on at the store for the first time today and looked around in absolute amazement. During the drive home, he said things like "That building is made of bricks!" and "I can see individual pebbles, not solid color!"
The crazy thing is that just a few months ago he did fine on an eye test. Now his prescription is the same as mine.

How cute!!!!! Seriously, he looks So handsome! I love them.
i'm sure if audrey were awake right now, she'd be so excited that andrew has joined her in the glasses club. too cute. :)
One of the handsomest boys I love. The glasses really look good on him. So glad he can see details now!

he's totally smiling like you in that picture, elliott. he looks great in glasses!
very handsome, andrew!
it's weird that his eyesight went down that quickly. bentley would be jealous. last year, he tried to fail his eye test on purpose so he could get glasses. :)
It was the sixth grade for me and, just like Andrew, it happened quickly--one day a documentary film the teacher was showing the class was out of focus, except it wasn't. And the blackboard was also hard to read. Yes, it's amazing the things you can see when glasses bring them into focus.
I agree that Andrew looks quite handsome, and it must be fun to see bricks again :) but what a pain in the neck to have to wear glasses!
