so i'm reading this and salivating from niamey - although i am in a euro-style cafe right now with quite good baguettes, so i can't complain too much.
but i have 2 more to add: the BEST boulangerie in paris is legay choc boulangerie on rue st. merri, right by the church's institute there. you MUST go - everything is heavenly. there's also a jewish bakery, florence finkelstijn on rue des rosiers that is super super good if you're into jewish food. basically the marais district rules in terms of food in paris in my opinion. :) mmm....have fun!! and when are you in oxford again? send me an email! love you!
