oh, yes! A pet rat seems a very good idea. Emma will care for her pet, clean its cage, feed it and of course play with it all the time. This will teach Emma to be disciplined and responsible. Just like her brothers. :)

a party with amanda and sophia sounds a lot better than a pet rat to me. i think you guys really dodged a bullet there.

I think I would encourage her idea of the birthday party idea with Amanda and Sofia. I am not a fan of rats in any form or color!!!!
